Teams of firefighters from area fire departments compete against one another by spraying hose streams at a suspended barrel on a cable cross the opposing line (Firefighters Tug-Of-War). Kid's games will be off to the side of the water fight area to enjoy. Free will donations will be accepted to support their fundraiser - Muscular Dystrophy Association - as a part of the Fill the Boot campaign.

The train show is one of the largest summer events of its kind in the Midwest. There are 10 model railroad layouts and exhibits, as well as over 300 tables of railroad related items: antiques, apparel, art. books. collectibles, models, modeling supplies, videos & DVDs. 


The toy show features over 50 vendor tables of toys & collectables: farm equipment, automobiles, military, as well as Hot Wheels, NASCAR, dolls, sports cards & antique toys. Exhibits include LEGO display and the Spoon River Antique Tractor Club Exhibit

Over 1,500 people strolled through the park, enjoying art, music, food, and children’s activities. Standish Arts & Crafts Market will take place ONE DAY ONLY; Saturday, June 27, 9am-4pm.

 Starring renowned Lincoln reenactor, Michael Krebs and is joined by local actors in this original production celebrating the nation's first transcontinental rail line. Centering around President Abraham Lincoln and his decision to sign the Pacific Railway Act authorizing construction of the line in 1862, the work showcases the transformative impact of the railroad from is completion on May 10th 1869, to present day. 

This show runs approx 50 minutes
